3rd Annual Menstruation and Mental Health Conference at University of Exeter

The conference on menstruation and mental health was established three years ago by Professor Gemma Sharp under the School of Psychology at the University of Exeter. Its purpose is to unite various disciplines to examine menstruation, menopause, and mental health. The group comprises over 400 members globally, including women’s health advocacy groups, charities, and healthcare providers, collaborating to generate new research insights.

As the first conference of its kind in Devon, the event is scheduled for Thursday and Friday at the University of Exeter, with an expected attendance of over 150 individuals. This particular event focuses exclusively on women’s health, aiming to find solutions so that menstruation and menopause no longer impact mental health and social well-being. Additionally, it seeks to educate people on leveraging research to address the challenges that affect them.

There is significant engagement and anticipation surrounding the event.
