Seeds of Destiny for Today message

It has been established that a major consequence of lovelessness is the limitation of life’s potential. Lovelessness limits a person’s potential, abilities, and gifts. Hatred, anger, or resentment cage a person’s abilities and capabilities.

When you fail to walk in love, your potential becomes limited. When you fail to walk in love, what you can become in life becomes limited.

But why is this so? It is because God made man in His image.

Genesis 1:27 says:

So God created man in his own image; in the image of God, he created him; male and female, he created them.

God made man in His own image, and the image of God is love. This means God made man in love. And the implication of this is that to realize your potential, you must walk in love. To become who God made you to be, you must walk and live according to the nature of your creation, which is the nature of love. To become who God wants you to be in life, you must work according to the nature of your creation, which is love.

We were created with a love mold, not  a hate mold.

Existence in lovelessness then equals existence in limitation. When you see a person in love, his life is full of possibilities. There are possibilities in his life that his eyes cannot see.
But when you see a hateful or malicious person, his life and potential are caged.
Beloved, don’t be a hateful and malicious person; live in love.

Remember this: Lovelessness limits a person’s potential, abilities, and gifts.

ASSIGNMENT FOR THE DAY:

1. Ask God for the grace to overcome hatred, resentment, and unforgiveness.
2. Do not allow your potential and possibilities to be limited by lovelessness.

Prayer: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from anger and hatred that limit my potential. I receive victory over the spell of lovelessness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
