TOPIC: The Power Of Vision (5) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 17 January 2025)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Genesis 35:1-36:43; Matthew 12:1-21; Psalm 15:1-5

FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (KJV)

24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.

26 I therefore run, not as uncertainly; so I fight, not as one that beateth the air:

27 But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection, lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

MEMORY VERSE: “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJV)

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES:
The Lord will hold you by the hand as you accomplish His will for your life, in the name of Jesus.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP:
Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
Refuse to look back and the Lord will uphold you.

Mountain Top Life Devotional For Today Message:

Today, beloved, we are looking at other values that we can derive from a clear-cut vision. A well-defined vision helps you to develop a positive mindset, the type of mindset that refuses to focus on limitations but on possibilities. It reinforces a belief that challenges are stepping stones rather than insurmountable barriers.

Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise. Think on these things.” The foregoing passage in the Bible prescribes the type of mindset that magnetises success and attracts opportunities and solutions that can propel you toward your envisioned goals. To build and maintain this positive mindset, you need discipline and consistency. Success in any endeavour requires discipline and consistency.

Your vision becomes a constant reminder of the ultimate goal, which helps you stay disciplined and focused. It provides the motivation needed to maintain consistency over time, meaning that you cultivate a lifestyle that leads you to long-term success. God is happy with anyone who is disciplined and consistent with achieving his God-given vision. We have a good example in the life of Nehemiah, who, by virtue of his discipline and consistency, achieved his God-given vision.

Nehemiah’s goal was to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and he achieved it in record time because he was resolute about it against all odds. He did not allow unbelief, the mockery, and the conspiracy of the enemy to deter his vision. He stayed focused and believed firmly in God’s backing. At the end, he triumphed gloriously over his opposition.

Beloved, God wants to showcase you as a trophy to the world through His ordained vision for your life. Missing this opportunity would result in a failed destiny. Stay consistent and you shall not fail, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Any power assigned to kill my vision, die, in the name of Jesus.
  2. I reject every evil diversion of my vision in the name of Jesus.
  3. Every satanic reset of my destiny, be reversed in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. Every strong man pursuing me as a trophy dies in the name of Jesus.
  2. Every intimidation of the wicked, stop, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Power to stay focused, come upon me, in the name of Jesus.
  4. O Lord, repair what should be repaired in my life, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, come into my life. I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. I believe in my heart you died and rose from the dead to save me. Thank You, Lord, for saving me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
