Pastor Ighodalo Dismisses Rumors Of Marriage To Kate Henshaw
Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has addressed and dismissed speculations regarding his alleged plans to marry Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw. The rumours, which have been widely circulated on social media, suggested that preparations, including Aso Ebi fabric for the supposed wedding, were already underway, sparking discussions among netizens and the public.
In an interview with media personality Osayuwamen Saleh on UpgradeTV, which recently gained public attention, Pastor Ighodalo firmly denied any knowledge of such arrangements. He humorously debunked the claims, expressing his surprise at the reports and questioning their validity.
“I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds. About an Aso Ebi coming out, well, not to the best of my knowledge. The problem with social media is that people feel they can do whatever they want,” he remarked, addressing the power of digital platforms in spreading misinformation.
He went on to highlight how such rumours can be monetised online, adding in a light-hearted manner, “Whoever is spreading this rumour is making money from it. When they are done spreading it, they should come and pay tithe.” His response resonated with many, as it shed light on how false narratives are often used for engagement and financial gains on social media.
While Pastor Ighodalo acknowledged that the possibility of remarriage in the future is not entirely ruled out, he made it clear that, for now, he remains focused on his work, faith, and personal growth. He reaffirmed his deep love for his late wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo, whose memory continues to live with him and inspire his journey.

“We’ll take each day as it comes. We don’t know what the future holds. If the future comes and there’s somebody somewhere… But for now, I am stable; I am focused. I have so much that I am doing; I am grateful, and God has been gracious to me,” he stated.
