YAHOO BOY SLAUGHTERS GIRLFRIEND FOR MONEY

MONEY RITUAL – An alleged Yahoo boy named Collins slaughtered his girlfriend, Justina Tiffany Otuene who is a 300-level Biochemistry student of the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State 14 days after her birthday. The supposed girlfriend who came to visit didn’t know her boyfriend was a ritualist.

Collins was found by his estate security trying to dispose of her dismembered corpse after removing her eyes, and private parts for alleged ritual purposes.

Caution For Young Ladies

In this present age and time, it has become rampant among young men and women to chase after money that is not achieved through hard or smart work but illegal and suspicious ways including rituals.

1st Timothy 6:10  ‘For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.’

money

The Bible does not say that money is evil, nor does it identify money as the underlying cause of all bad things. The common expression money is the root of all evil is an incomplete and misleading Bible quotation.

If we do not compromise moral and spiritual values for the sake of money, we will have self-respect along with God’s favour and support. To those who sincerely try to please him, God promises: “I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you.” (Hebrews 13:5, 6) He also assures us that “a faithful man will receive many blessings.”—Proverbs 28:20.

However, the caution for ladies doesn’t necessarily attack immoral or promiscuous ladies alone, anyone can fall victim of this circumstance. It is a call for both ladies and guys, even those who have good morals to be careful with whom they move with, friends, partners, acquaintances etc.

It is also a call for us not to compromise our spiritual values for the sake of money and also to be cautious of who we choose to be friends with, the partners we choose and the people we walk with.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?’

In human relationships to be unequally yoked with unbelievers is, in the words of one commentary, “to be in a situation…that binds you to the decisions and actions of people who have values and purposes incompatible with Jesus’ values and purposes.”

When Paul says, Do not be unequally yoked, he means first, that we should not associate with believers who don’t actually live for Jesus, and second, that engaging in any sort of intimate relationship or partnership with someone who does not let Jesus be the center of their lives will ultimately lead to our demise

In Conclusion,

Be content, you are and have enough. You should not be characterized by greed/bank accounts or driven for more money and things. So as not to lose dignity and put yourself and your families in shame forever.
