Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Cross, known for his controversial presence on social media and his participation in the Shine Ya Eye edition, where he finished in the top six, has recently made headlines for his new spiritual journey.
After being offline for a while, Cross returned with a surprising announcement: he has given his life to Jesus. This revelation has sparked mixed reactions, with some wondering whether it’s a genuine transformation or just a publicity stunt.
During a midnight TikTok live session, he spoke extensively about God, leading many to conclude that he had experienced a spiritual awakening. He mentioned that “God had arrested him,” but added that the full story would be shared another day.
Viewers flooded the comment section with questions, one of which was: How do you turn away from sin and never look back? In response, Cross said:
“It happens, but it takes grace and the spirit of God. It becomes a bit easier, and you can work towards it. It’s not easy, but it’s something we’re going to be teaching. So stay tuned; we’ll be coming live every day as much as we can to address your questions and work through it together.”
By “we,” he referred to his team of believers who are joining him in this spiritual journey. According to him, they aim to help people discover things about themselves that even they might not be aware of, things God wants them to know.

He went further to discuss the devil’s role in humanity’s struggles, saying: “The main reason the devil is so obsessed with and mad at God is because God made human beings more superior than him. Before he became the devil, he was Lucifer, one of the most amazing angels, called the Bright Morning Star.
When he sang and played his instruments, they brought joy and light to the heavens. But pride and jealousy got into his heart, and when he realised that God had created humans to be greater than him, his intentions changed—he decided to destroy mankind. Ever since, the devil has been doing everything he can to make humans fall, so they won’t be able to tap into God’s joy, glory, and blessings.”
Cross shared even more insights during his live session, promising to continue these discussions daily.
