FIRE GUTS HOUSEHOLD OF DAVID CHURCH AHEAD OF MERCY CONFRENCE ’24

The house of David church auditorium in Lagos at Adeniyi Jones street, Ikeja Lagos was destroyed by a fire on Wednesday morning January 31, 2024.

The church headed by Pastor Olusola Osunmakinde was supposed to start the Mercy conference 2024 programme on the same day this incident occurred. The Lagos State Fire Service spokesperson, Amodu Shakiri, disclosed that the church’s auditorium ceiling was overheating, which caused the ceiling to collapse and ignite a fire. Pastor Olusola said they had called the fire service as soon as the fire started but the fire service responded late and he had to painfully watch the fire rampage.

No lives were lost during the fire outbreak and Pastor Olusola Osunmakinde said the church is still confident on going ahead with the conference programme.

Pastor Olusola posted the new venue for the Mercy conference 24 on his Instagram platform few hours after the incident and the new venue for the Mercy conference 2024 is now at High point event centre and suites, 5 impressive Cl, Agidingbi, Lagos 101233, Lagos. The conference is expected to host seasoned ministers and pastors like Moses Bliss, Dunsin Oyekan, Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor Yemi David, Pastor Godman Alabi, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey and others.
