Prophet Umueke Miracle Accused Of Bigamy And Abuse By Wife

Success Miracle, the wife of Prophet Umueke Miracle, leader of the Dynamic Flame of Fire and Miracle Ministries, has accused her husband of bigamy, infidelity, and domestic abuse.

Success alleged that Prophet Miracle married another woman despite being legally wedded to her. She claimed that he paid the bride price for his second wife and is now living with a third woman. Additionally, she accused him of using law enforcement to intimidate her and restricting her movement. The situation escalated when Prophet Miracle was arrested for allegedly detaining Success in a house for five days.

The allegations came to light after Success was freed on Sunday following police intervention. Prophet Miracle was subsequently invited for questioning and taken into custody.

The incident took place in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with Success reportedly detained in a residence in the GRA area of the city. The case is now being handled by the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Success stated that she decided to speak out to expose her husband’s actions and free others from what she described as his manipulative control. She detailed a long history of abuse, financial restrictions, and emotional distress, alleging that Prophet Miracle prevented her from opening a bank account or having financial independence. When she secretly started a small business, he reportedly accused her of theft and subsequently detained her.

The Rivers State Police Command confirmed Prophet Miracle’s arrest. Commissioner of Police Olugbenga Adepoju stated that the case had been transferred to the State CID for further investigation. The arrest followed a police operation led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Abacha Division, who secured Success’s release.

Allegations of Bigamy and Infidelity

Success revealed that trouble began in 2019 when a woman named Suzanna, initially married to a man named Ibrahim, joined their church. Rumours surfaced about an affair between Prophet Miracle and Suzanna, which allegedly led to her husband leaving the church. Despite denying the relationship, Prophet Miracle later paid Suzanna’s bride price and moved her into an apartment.

According to Success, Prophet Miracle gradually distanced himself from their home, only visiting after church services to count offerings. She alleged that he later began living with a third woman while leaving her without financial support.

Claims of Domestic Abuse and Financial Control

Success further accused her husband of physical abuse and isolating her from her family. She claimed he confiscated her SIM cards and phones to restrict her communication. She also alleged that Prophet Miracle manipulated bank staff into revealing her secret bank account balance, after which he accused her of theft.

Prophet Miracle remains in custody as investigations continue. The police are expected to determine whether charges will be filed against him for unlawful confinement, domestic abuse, and financial misconduct.

The case has sparked widespread discussion about the abuse of power within religious institutions and the vulnerability of spouses in faith-based marriages. Authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
