The United States Exposed as a sponsor for Boko Haram.

In a shocking revelation, the United States of America has been exposed as one of the major sponsors of terrorism in different countries, including Nigeria.  In a video that has being circulated by social media, American Congressman Scott Perry reveals several organisations that the United States has been funding over the years.

Surprisingly, some of these organisations included terrorist organisations, one of which is the Boko Haram jihadist group that has been plaguing northern Nigeria since 2002.

This revelation stemmed from the annoying probe of previous United States government expenditures by newly elected President Donald Trump. In 2014, during President Barack Obama’s tenure, the United States offered to help Nigeria in the fight against Boko Haram insurgency. An offer that many key figures in Nigeria termed to be dubious. Nigeria did accept the offer but constant suspicion of the United States’ real motive did not let the collaboration continue for long.

In a video posted by Nigeria Stories on Twitter, former Nigerian president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan mentioned during an interview that the United States government had influenced the election, which had removed him from power and brought in the APC government of former president Mohammadu Buhari. He said he believed the US government sending a representative to Nigeria (US Secretary of State John Kerry) on the eve of the election was shady and was done solely to tamper with the election.

In the video, the former president stated that the United States had politicised some situations in Nigeria to its advantage in a way. One of such situations was the abduction of the 276 female students from the government girls secondary school in Chibok on April 14, 2014.

Could it be that the United States sponsored the abductions to turn Nigerians hearts against Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s presidency and re-election? That is yet to be determined and might never be proven.

Coincidentally, the United States refused to surrender incriminating documents regarding current Nigerian president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s drug-related activities in America, which would have been decisive evidence against him during his court case versus fellow presidential candidate Peter Obi.

Recent events have proved Nigerians suspicion of the United States’s 2014 offer to be correct. All evidence points towards the US government being a major financier for several terrorist groups in Nigeria and in the world.
